Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or check out some fanworks that are new to you.

Well, I've been working on an actual fic this week, which is new-ish for me (I've written a few bits and pieces before but not for years, and not porn--which this one definitely is, so that's new. I also got out the new microphone that my family bought me for Christmas and recorded some tests -- I recorded the same short fic three times with different settings (my old mic didn't have *settings*).

And I'm going to go read a few recs from Day 2 while I'm at it. ...

And I'm back, having just read a glorious Sandman story recc'd by brightandravenous.

I commented on the Sandman story i just mentioned in Day 7, and also on the journal of the person who recc'd it. :-)
