It hurts my grammar-nazi brain that, according to two change requests I've received, the corporate standards for our software enforce improper capitalization. And since when has "Non" ever been a word? I am instructed to:
  • In "Current Week to Date (Sun Start)", capitalize "to".
  • In "Both Incoming and Outgoing", capitalize "and".
  • In "Skip in Workflow Mode", capitalize "in".
  • In "Resource (Non-screen) Tasks", remove the hyphen (in favor of a space, presumably) and then capitalize "Screen".

People with too few brain cells and too much time should never be given authority to make decisions greater than, "Should I buy wheat bread or white?"

there's more than one kind of bread?

Yes, wheat bread and something apparently made out of rice, barley, or some other white grain, since it ain't wheat...

I don't think I would be able to parse "Resource (Non Screen) Tasks" at all if it were presented to me without context, whereas I can get some sense out of the original. Maybe the reason I'm a pedant is that I lack the imagination to figure out what on earth people are talking about when they use grammar incorrectly...
