Jen and I went to the park for a picnic this afternoon. We saw a group of LARPers playing with boffer weapons and decided to watch. Jen had belonged to a similar group several years ago and was critiquing their fighting. After a while a couple of the guys stopped by to say hello and invite us to come back next week again, and then after another while they came back and sat with us for quite a while flirting and teasing. "Are you two...like...girlfriends?" Well, duh. We'd only been cuddling and kissing all afternoon. "So should we leave?" Head shakes. "Is there room for guys?" Smiles.

Neither of them were the ones we had been commenting on and observing all day, more's the pity, but we had a lot of good laughs and amusement and they gave us their numbers. Unlikely that we'll call, a little more likely that we might come back another Sunday, but still, a fun afternoon.

I am now sunburned. Ouch.

I find myself wondering if he'd ask a heterosexual couple if there was "room for guys".

Most unlikely. I wasn't exactly overwhelmed by the cluefulness of these particular guys, but it was fun. And also somewhat gratifying to be hit on by a 20-yr-old, however dense.

No dear, I think it was more like an amusement...though gratifying works as well. Must admit, especially since we were making comments about going out on our 40th birthdays to see how young of men we could get. I think we are doing quite well... lol
(And yes, this is the evil Jen she speaks of at times. Just started this whole live journel thing. Hope I remember to actually write things.)
