Gratifying, but odd...

Rosa and I watched My Neighbor Totoro again today. At the very end, after the credits, the words "The End" appeared on the screen, and without thinking I said "Owari." A single Japanese word, floating up out of nowhere but absolutely correct and in context. Even though the movie is dubbed into English, it seems to be eliciting my memory of Japanese.
