Tomato bonanza
Aug. 26th, 2002 06:44 pmEvery day when I come home with Rosa, we pick the current crop of grape tomatoes from the vine in the backyard. This plant is huge; it would probably be ten feet tall if it were standing vertically; however, it is sprawled tangled on the patio and across part of the lawn. It is covered in yellow flowers, tiny green ovoids, and each day a few delectable red morsels. Today's crop was a full double handful, and we ate them all before they even had a chance to lose the warmth of the sun.
