What is it with this girl? She's still awake! I put her down to bed at 8:45. She did cough for a while and vomit once; I changed the bedsheets, cleaned her up, gave her water, and after a few minutes she got up again. Then she's been saying she wants to sleep in the living room. Fine with me, if only she'd actually sleep!

As I write this she has finally quieted. Keeping my fingers crossed that she's out for the night.

Au contraire. She was not asleep. And still isn't, though she let me leave her alone and go do laundry for a couple of minutes.

"I wanna hug! I wanna hug!" and a small person insinuates herself into my lap.
