Ok, it's after midnight and my plane leaves at 8:00 am. Do you suppose it's about time I started packing?

I did spend about three hours painting the bedroom--and another two-three playing with more Harry Potter Legos (yes, I went out and bought more of them)--and I did two loads of laundry, so it's not as if I haven't done anything. But the suitcase is empty, and that is not going to work too well.

Would all you con people mind if I just went around naked all weekend? ;-)

All packed now and ready to go.

We did have one more small bit of excitement when I logged on to travelocity to print out my itinerary and found "your flight is unconfirmed!" notices. But I called them and all is well; there was a duplicate entry.

Now to bed to pretend to sleep for about four hours.

Phew. I had a hard time getting to sleep because I couldn't remember where my passport was. But I made myself lie down and sleep, because I knew it would come to me if I didn't ransack the house on the spot. And sure enough, I remembered that I had put it in a side pocket of my purse. Just got up and checked, and there it was.

Now to shower, take out the trash, clean the cat box, and get the frell out of here.

Found my way to the con hotel, currently hanging out in the internet room. About to go out and get some snackies and lunch. On pins and needles waiting for everyone to arrive.
