Fortress Box has fallen...
Oct. 2nd, 2002 10:13 pmI just spent the last hour taking my books out of the boxes which sat in front of the dining room window and throwing them haphazardly into the bookcases. That is to say, they're lined up neatly enough, but there is no organization whatsoever. Still, it's a huge improvement. I managed to find the Great Book, and I'll probably spend the next couple of days with Corwin and Merlin, ignoring all the other things on the to-read list. Which list is very very long: I found quite a few things in those boxes I hadn't yet read, and stacked them separately. I also found several books I'll be releasing into the wild shortly, and will probably cull even more at a later date. And I found my DVD of Moulin Rouge.
truefireflower, my love, would you like to come watch it with me sometime soon?
Okay, so there are still about five boxes left. But I undid over ten of them, and only stopped because the remaining shelves on the bookcases are full of knickknacks and other things that have to be put away first before any more books can come out. Think I'll end up buying at least one more bookcase, too. Is there such a thing as too many books?
