Ya know what the world (or at least M$ Windows) needs? An option on the "trust this content" dialog for "NEVER trust content from [eg Gator Corporation]". I shouldn't have to be asked more than once if I know I don't want it.

I'm feeling vaguely lazy and underachieving. Lots of my friends are doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm not. But I've thought and thought about it, and I don't feel that I can do 1500 words a day for a month, what with single parenting and working like crazy. If I tried to write only on the days Rosa is not staying with me, that pretty much doubles the daily quota.

::sigh:: I'll try for next year perhaps.

But why should this bother me so much?

I have one big document here on this computer. I just looked at the statistics, and it's 66 pages, 31969 words according to M$Word. Total editing time 1378 minutes = 22 hours. That's not so much...hm. I dunno. I still don't think I want to give myself the deadline.

I'd never seen any of Michael Moore's documentaries before. I was impressed.

Aw, fuck.

It has to have been the quiz site. I've just gotten the pop-up windows from hell, all trying to download and install shit. And several of them have the evil "onClose" function--to download and install more shit. They popped up the download dialog even when I closed them using TaskManager!

Grrr.
