semperfionaAlong the same lines, I take far more than the objective quantity of amusement contained therein from the fact that the current beta of IntelliJ Idea I am using is Build 666. It's actually quite stable and bug-free. The new release is due Any Day Now. I find it likewise amusing to imagine that this build could be the release candidate.
And while I'm talking about it, Idea is a positively wonderful development environment for Java. Check out the Overview of version 3.0. That document is a work-in-progress and may only be available to members of the Early Access Program, but I suspect the direct link will work for anyone.
