Nov. 23rd, 2002 10:50 amPhew! My hands ache. I just spent nearly two hours raking leaves. Considering the fact that my yard is only 140' x 42', including the house, and I don't even have any full-grown trees, there were a lot of leaves on it. In the front, it's the city-owned Bradford pear beside the sidewalk. In the back, it's the oak across the street. There used to be two more Bradford pears on the side, but they both died and were cut down.
But all that physical work, once I made myself do it, put me in a much better mood. I feel like I accomplished something. And the warm sunshine didn't hurt either.
