Nov. 29th, 2002 04:30 pmPhew. As I had promised Rosa, we put the Christmas tree up today. But as I had suspected, there were no ornaments. Ray left me the artificial tree, but apparently took all the ornaments, so we had to go out and brave the horrors of shopping on Black Friday. We ended up going to four different stores, because I needed some other things too.
Rosa picked out the lights, garland, and ornaments. We have a nice bright colorful tree now, covered in colored lights, blue/green garland, and multi-colored shatterproof ornaments. The stuff I'd had before had been color-coordinated in teal and white. Not particularly appealing to a child, I suppose.
