semperfionaRafting with the in-laws, several years ago. My ex-father-in-law was trying to organize us to paddle as a group, and claimed the title of Captain. I told him that in that case I outranked him, as I was a Queen.
My character Fiona was at that time Queen of Amber (and a damn good one too, thank you very much).
It was funnier to me at the time, I think. Sigh.
