I have only one comment to make at this moment, late as it is.

What did they do to Faramir!?? When Faramir started saying "The Ring will go to Gondor" I sat upright in my seat and scowled at the screen, arms crossed fiercely.

yeah...that's one of the inconsistencies we noticed, too. i'm not sure why they did that. odd, that.

I think they did it because they didn't want to end the movie where the book ends, so theyt needed some filler right there in the last part of the middle in order to keep the timeline with the rest of the story. Or something like that. I was SORELY disappointed in it. Faramir was my hero in the books. BAH! on whomever's poor decision THAT was.
