We've been watching the Olympics around our house lately, and we're
fascinated by--of all things--CURLING! I do believe we've had curling on
the TV almost as often as it's been aired. Okay, we're not fanatical
enough to get up at 4am for the live broadcast, but it's been on every
morning before work and most evenings. Last night our plan was to go out
to India's Rasoi (as I persist in calling it despite its renaming to
"India's Kitchen"), but curling was on, and we had to wait for the last
end.

The commentators have been showing photographs from a
naked-curling-chicks calendar (topless, actually) and Chris spent half
an hour tracking down its source. He has ordered it from the Canadian
Curling Federation (so now you know too).

Ok I have to find my post of a few years ago, I swear it was during the last Olympics about watching and really getting into curling. So this time, like you I am hooked. Ya not the get up a 4am hooked but with the cold I have had I was home sick on Monday and Tuesday and if curling was on I was watching it.

The Johnson sister are way cute well all the women on the team are...and well the a couple on the mens team are prety hot too. *S*

I love watching curling. And if you're not watching the screen, listening to women's curling can be like listening to porn.

Although Olympic curling isn't generally to the level of the Canadian nationals. (Who, me, proud of my country? Nah...)

Curling? You mean, like, weight training for the forearms? Why is this a sport?

It's a strange, strange sport. But it's so much fun to watch.

It's also cool because it's one of the few sports where being in your 40s generally means that you're a better player than someone in their 20s.

It's a game played with a big rock and janitorial tools; and it belongs in the Olympics about as much as bowling.

Hee! I enjoy curling, too. It's more physical than it looks to play.
