semperfionaYesterday I got home from work to a bouncy and excited little girl. "Close your eyes mommy and hold out your hands!"
I did, and she put a gift bag in my hands. "What did I do to deserve a present?"
"Mothers' Day."
"But Mothers' Day isn't until Sunday...Should I wait to open it until then?"
"No, no, no, open it now!"
She (with Tammie's help) made me a bracelet of blue glass and white shell beads, with a cross charm on it. I put it on right away, and am wearing it now. First time I've worn a cross since...oh, 1987.
I'm considering getting a few other religious symbol charms and making some more bracelets to have a matched set.
