Last thing before I left work on Friday, I posted a note to our internal forums asking if anyone was interested in studying Japanese with me. I got three positive responses, all rank beginners, and I just set up an initial meeting for Wednesday noon. Now I have given myself some accountability, and I will have to put together a curriculum and keep ahead of them. Picked Wednesday because due to the Stitch-n-Pitch game I won't have time to do that tonight. I think Weds. will be just an introduction, finding out what kind of interest each one has (anime? general? J-pop?), and a suggested book and the like, but we'll see. We might go through the first few little bits of the book: 「こちらはデビドローさんです。」and the like.

If you can, let us know what you are using. I have a daughter that is interested in Japanese, she has worked through some, but has a long way to go.
