More than an hour's worth of questions, to be sure

Next week we're promised "the answers to all your questions!" Here are
some of mine.

- What's Angela Petrelli's power?
I've thought it was something mental all along: precognition was my
first theory, then last night when she somehow summoned back Peter's
memory I wondered if she had something similar to the Haitian.

- How did Peter end up in a cargo container in Ireland? (And what
happened to the shipment of iPods?)

- Why in the name of my dear and fluffy Lord would anyone rescue and
keep Sylar?
If ever the phrase "he needs killin'" meant anything...

- And whatever happened to his powers?
I suppose that the answer to this might shed light on the answer to the
previous one. Maybe they gave him a dose of the (original) virus that
strips people's abilities? Certainly we haven't seen him take any brains
this season. Doesn't make him any less of a psychopath, in my
estimation.

- Is there a genealogical link between all these people?
Bringing in a 400-year-old hero certainly makes it possible. We've
already seen that pairings of powered people invariably produce powered
offspring (say that five times fast)...is he really the Adam? And if so,
where's Eve?

It would seem, too, that there's been something of a breeding program.
We were given to understand that D.L. and Niki were pushed together
somehow.
But on the other hand, specific powers don't seem to be directly
transmitted. Parents with flight and pyrokinesis had a child with
regeneration. Parents with phasing-through-substances and
multi-personality-serial-killer-ness had a technomage.

- Why are there repeating powers this season where there were none last
season?
I discount Peter and Sylar because they each had a different way to
absorb others' powers. But this season we have two with flight and two
with regeneration.

- Who's Elle's Daddy?
My shortlist of possible daddies includes Bob, Maury, Kensei/Adam,
Invisible Man (whose name I've misplaced if I ever knew it). It could be
a totally new character, but I'd find that disappointing and unfair. The
writers have been really good about placing hints and clues where we
could find them if we looked (usually after the fact, for me, whereas
Chris stopped the program last night to say "I'm liking the drunk
Englishman as Adam Monroe" about five minutes before he walked into
Peter's room and identified himself).

- Where is Invisible Man, anyway?
I thought he was the one who pushed Kaito Nakamura off the roof, but no
one else in the house agreed with me.

- What's with the fucking cockroaches?

On the season 1 DVD the unaired pilot had *more* cockroaches. Saresh pointed out they are the pinnacle of evolution.

I'm fairly sure it was the cop's dad or Adam that pushed Kaito.

The Invisible Man told Peter his name was Claude Raines, which is the name of the actor who played the part in the 1933 film. http://imdb.com/title/tt0024184/

With all the ex-Star Trek actors we were joking that Ellie's dad had to be played by Shatner.

When the kid showed us flight, a few people were wondering if prime time really wanted to go the whole incest route...

Since Candace ("I left to act on Rever and they had to recast me") was nursing Sylar and she was last seen working for the Company, I'm assuming that the Company thought they could control him (Stupid villains!).

Since they are repeating powers, Angela could have the Haitian's power - or the reverse, or (hopefully) something really cool and devious.

Yeah, my theory is that Angela has the same power as the Haitian, just, like the Parkmans, has better control over it. I noticed that it didn't seem to be *Peter's* memories that Angela was pumping, but hers - the memories she gave him were all memories with her in them.
