Happy 11th Birthday, Rosa!

Today is Rosa's 11th birthday. She was even born on a Thursday, so it's a complete match.

Here she is on Sunday afternoon, all dressed up for Halloween. She was an ice princess. (Her idea, don't ask me where it came from.)

What a great picture, the way the sunlight sparkles on the tiara, and the leaves glint as if they're spangled!

But what I really love about this picture, is you can see in it what Rosa will look like in 20 years, a beautiful, sparkling, confident woman.

Sigh. They grow up so fast. But, wow, is the result ever worth it.
