Just back from goth night at the Complex with Kristy. I got all dressed up in my new leather outfit, fishnet tights, boots...even makeup! I did the eyeliner thing I used to do, with decorative designs at the corners of my eyes. Body glitter. Hair glitter. It's all good. But nobody dances!

I am now the proud possessor of an invitation to the Armageddon Ball June 7. Oh Je-en...we have to do this. They're having a heaven and hell theme. Jala and Fi must attend!

And there's a Voltaire show on 6/19. Aren't they the ones with the vampire nightclub song?

those lyrics don't ring a bell, but voltaire usually puts on a good show, whether by himself or with his little gypsy band. ;)

i'd say his most commonly played song is "when you're evil".

he *does* have free stuff at mp3.com and his CDs are on sale at projekt.com oh, i see that he does have a song called the vampire club at mp3... ahhh, must have. it's on the new album.... i sense an upcoming projekt order...

not that i listen to him way too much or anything.

lol Yes my dearest, that is the one with the goofy songs. :) I'm already planning on going with people from my kindred, Josh included... :( Don't know how that will go, but we agreed to go together and try to be friends once more. But of course I'd love to see you there. I'm going to be wearing my leather corset, don't know what else...so I can't really be the angel. Fi must be the angel this time and Jala gets to be the devil... Or both can be devils... Which is more like it. lol Love you.

Complex has a goth night? I need more details on this, please! Was it an equal male/female crowd? Did anyone end up dancing? Was the music goth/alternative? Thanks!

Complex has a goth night?

Yes, every Wednesday starting at eleven pm. I'm told that on the third Weds of the month, the whole club is goth night, but the other Weds it's just the basement.

Was it an equal male/female crowd?

It was a more-or-less evenly mixed crowd. At least, I didn't notice a heavy majority of either men or women.

Did anyone end up dancing?

Nobody danced while I was there. :-(

Was the music goth/alternative?

Yes, it was. Mostly tending toward the industrial, I think. I'm not real good at identifying music.
