Strawberry jam

Spent the morning with indigobynight picking strawberries, and just finished making eight pints of strawberry jam. I'd told her making jam would take two or three hours; it only took one and a half. What's going to take a whole load more time is cleaning up! I've got strawberry goo all over everything in my kitchen.

Sounds yummy, and like much fun! I wish we were actually having spring, so that I could go and pick strawberries. :(

Trade you a jar of Michigan blueberry for a jar of St. Louis strawberry.

Of course, blueberries will not be out for a while so you'll have to be a little patient on the trade. Hubby and I started picking blueberries last summer and loved it. Made jam for the first time. Turned out to taste like summer.
