I just received an email from the CEO. The infamous and aggravating dress code policy has been somewhat relaxed. They've realized that we've spent more time in the last six months worrying about people's pantyhose than actually working!

I'm so glad to live somewhere that women aren't required to wear hose in any but the most conservative settings.

::nod:: I don't actually mind wearing hose...when I want to. I have several pairs of fishnets, stripey stockings, sparkly tights...none of them the least bit appropriate for the office, but perfectly mah-velous for clubbing.

The rest of the time, I prefer my legs bare thank you very much.

When I go bare legged to the office, I have to carry hose (usually knee-highs - I love long skirts!) or socks with me to put on in case I have to go to a customer site. Sheesh, I'm the tech, they shouldn't expect me to be dressy. Plus, hose run when you're crawling on the floor to plug something in, or run some fiber cable....
