What's wrong with that man?
Jun. 30th, 2002 10:24 amI went to Ray's this morning to pick up Rosa. We were having what I thought was a nice friendly conversation: I told him about going for a hike yesterday morning, spending the day at "my friend's" pool, and then trying to go to see Lord of the Rings at the dollar theater and it being sold out after six months in the market and three weeks at the dollar screen. He told me about his plans for the day: going to a baseball game and a party at his friends' house.
And then abruptly he said "I don't think we should be talking about our personal lives. Let's move on," and left the room.
I said, "What's the matter?" and got the standard "Nothing" in reply. I hadn't thought anything we were talking about was all that personal, and now I can't help wondering what he was hiding. I really could care less if he's got a girfriend or whatever--and if he had a whatever we might actually find we had something in common again!
