Inspired by klwalton's question, the Talking Heads Song "Once in a Lifetime" is now playing in my head. The question itself I will have to think about for a while, or at least write about later. I've got to leave for work.

I'm trying to find the lyrics, but so far it seems an awful lot of people just quote it for other purposes. I googled "you may ask yourself how did I get here" which one would think was a pretty specific search phrase, but so far, no lyrics, just a lot of people using those words.

Ok, found them with the combination of "you may ask yourself", "large automobile", and "beautiful house".

Now I'm dying to play my Talking Heads album. Must dig it out of the CD wallet and take it on my commute.

Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the title at the time, nor much more than a few stray phrases. But I'll remember that suggestion, thanks.

That can be a problem for me, too :). I remember a snatch of lyric, or the tune, sometimes without remembering the artist. It becomes an odyssey of epic proportion. I'll ask one of the kids to play Name That Tune, finding the album, the name of the song. I drive myself crazy. I imagine I drive others crazy as well :).
