Kind of an odd feeling this morning. I was woken up by a call from Ray to say he wasn't yet at home, that he and Rosa had stayed the night at his mom's because he went to "an event" last night, and that he didn't have time to have breakfast with me today because he's going to "another event" this morning. His coy talk about "events" piques my curiosity. Has he got dates? Or is it the singles club he joined? Or something else entirely and he's just on the "don't talk about personal life" kick again. Why should I care? I don't really, I guess, but I'm a bit envious of whatever it is after spending my evening at home. And I've hardly ever gone out on a night when I had Rosa, but he's done it two times in a row now. I guess I shouldn't feel so bad about it, but I'm always afraid he'll try to get custody of her on grounds of my having let someone else watch her.

Bleah. Why does he still have the power to intrude on my thoughts this way?
