for teaching Rosa what I consider the most evil song ever written.

She came out with the first couple of lines (spot on correct lyrics, too) this evening. I asked her where she learned it.

"Daddy!" she announced proudly.

Please, somebody, give me a replacement earworm. Anything, anything at all, would be preferable.

There's always on top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese. I lost my poor meatball, when somebody sneezed. There may be more words, but I can't remember them.

I have tons of tapes with kids songs on them, got them for $1 a piece at Deals (another dollar store). Some have the same songs, but there are about 10 of them, with tons of cute kids songs. My favorite is I've been working on the railroad. I'm not sure why, I just like it.

You see, I consider THAT variation evil and insidious and didn't want to be guilty (directly) of inflicting it. ;)

It was, of course, my intent that you would immediately think of it. I'm passive aggressive like that. ;)

After watching "Kung Pow: Enter the fist" on the weekend, I have the "I like big butts" song stuck in my head.

Our kids discovered the Dr. Demento CDs recently and were constantly going around for a while talking about "a boot to the head." It was annoying, but we decided to ignore it and they finally lost interest.

When Katie was really tiny, my brother loved to teach her various country songs. "Achey Breaky Heart" was one of them. My sister taught her to wiggle her butt when she walked and introduced the concept of wedgies. They haven't had kids yet, so I haven't been able to repay the favors. Yet.
