Stupid M$ Outlook. If you click a link, it doesn't open a new instance of IE, it uses whichever IE window is on top. Now if that window happens to be the AIM Java client...you get summarily kicked off.
Actually, that's an IE setting. Go to a web page, then pick "Tools . . . Internet Options" from the menu, click on the Advanced tab and look for "Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts" in the list. Uncheck it, click 'apply', and Outlook should behave itself.
Yeah, I did see that. I used to have an Apple myself, but lost it in the divorce. When/if I have money again, I'm buying myself another one. But that doesn't help me for work, where I'm stuck with the Evil EmpireTM.
