Aug. 29th, 2002 10:37 pm::snerk:: I was just IM'ing with Ray, and I mentioned that Christine was getting married next weekend and I was a bridesmaid. He messages me back...
Ray: Dumb question time. Are you and Christine getting married? (I am asking this seriously)
Fionamber: No.
Ray: OK. Good night.
All because I never got around to telling him who the groom was, mostly because his name is Kirk, and my bestfriend/crushobject is also called Kirk, and he's insanely jealous even to this day.

Aug. 29th, 2002 11:21 pmFiona is gleefully cackling in the back of my head. She got Corwin but good: hoist him with his own petard even. Corwin and Jala, Brand and Fi were playing Truth or Dare, and Corwin had dared Brand to kiss Jala. "I play to win," he said. Neither of them liked the idea, but they did it. So when Fi's turn came next, she dared Corwin to beg their forgiveness. He was not amused. Didn't let him get away with a monotone recital of words, either.
Of course, immediately afterward Paul flitted. Party-pooper.
I know this isn't going to make sense to anyone but me, but I'll try to add some backstory. Jala is Fi's mother-in-law, Mandor's mother. Fi is (and has been for quite a long time now) having an openly-acknowledged affair with Brand--in effect a triad relationship has developed between Fi, Brand and Mandor. Jala was not pleased about this--they had a number of confrontations. Somewhere in there, Jala and Corwin got together, and after quite a while Fi and Jala reached an approchement and even a friendship. They just don't mention The Brand Thing. Somehow, in the last several game sessions, all four wound up at a chalet of Corwin's in the mountains, getting drunk together, and decided to play Truth or Dare.
