Couldn't sleep, so I got up and came downstairs to write Jen email and tell her I was thinking of her. But she was still online so we had a conversation instead. A very happy glowy conversation that makes me feel all gooey and loved.

Book journal

Okay, so indigobynight was talking about doing exactly the same thing I had been thinking about doing, so I went ahead and did it. New journal fionas_books now exists for me to post about the books and movies I've read or seen. I know some people (Hi Kristy!) said just post here, but I may use that more as a list than as commentary. If I really have anything to say about them, I might end up putting it both places or just here, I'm not really sure yet. However, that being said, it's a public journal and anyone who wishes to is welcome to add it to their friends list.

Home from the salon with a spiffy new haircolor, a lot darker than what it was just three hours ago: a deep auburn, almost mahogany, but with lighter highlights.

Unfortunately I missed out on going to the airport with Jen, though, because I had seriously underestimated how long it would take. Hope she comes by later.

Amusing factoids

1. No less than three other people I work with are also visiting Chicago this weekend, all completely independently of each other.


2. It took me two hours to pack for my trip to Colorado with Rosa. It took me ten minutes to pack for a solo weekend in Chicago.
