Marina called tonight; I had invited her to Rosa's birthday party, and she called to say they'll be coming. Not a word about the email I sent in July, but then I didn't really expect any. It does seem that I've been a dork by not calling her sooner.

I've just been watching a movie called Original Sin, with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie. For having two of the hotter stars--and I mean, doable, not just earning high salaries--it was disappointingly unsexy. There was a sequence near the beginning with lots of views of Banderas's back and Jolie's breasts, but it wasn't really all that hot. The onscreen chemistry wasn't there, maybe. Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones's swordfight in The Mask of Zorro is hotter, even though it shows less skin.
