May. 14th, 2011 06:53 pmOur household has had an Easter tradition of scavenger egg hunts: a minimal number of hidden eggs, with clues from one to the next. This year, though, we thought we'd try geocaching around the neighborhood instead. Easter Day was stormy, so it got postponed.
This morning, drizzly cold notwithstanding, Rosa and I went out with our umbrellas and inappropriate shoes

and looked for a couple of nearby caches. There are apparently more than twenty within a mile of here: I picked out three and entered the coordinates into Australia (my iphone is "...a shiny new Australia!") before we set out.
