I love For Better, For Worse. It's wonderful the way the characters are so true to life. Things happen to them both good and bad; they sometimes respond with courage or strength, sometimes with frustration or fear. They grow, they change. They live.

And the current storyline takes me back to right after Rosa's birth...

I'm waiting for someone to protest about the "moo" comment yesterday :)

I love that strip, too.

I started reading that strip when Lizzy (and my Megan) were babies. :):)

I've followed it for the longest time. Not that long ago I got rid of all my Comic Strip Books, except for Bloom County and For Better or For Worse. Those two strips I keep going back to.

And I'm not even a parent!

[livejournal.com profile] indyansel and I are the same way. We read Baby Blues and Zits, too. And we have kids - each other ;)

Heh...

Considering that Kevin is now 5 weeks old, I about died laughing at the strip. I've only seen it on Sundays, so I didn't know what was going on during the week.

Today's strip is perfect for what Pete is going through right now....last night as a matter of fact. :-)

If you are feeling nostalgic, you can come up for a few 3 am feedings. :-)

I absolutely adore the strip - it's a passion that my mother and I share together. I am the same age as the character, "Michael," and literally grew up read the strip. I suppose what made it even better was that it is placed in Canada and I knew about all the places she was writing about. For Mother's Day, I ordered her latest book off their website and had it autographed.

It's nice to see other people who adore the strip. It was only in January that I discovered that they it published online daily. I know United has it on their site but check out Lynn Johnston's own site at http://www.fborfw.com/.

I know we've talked about this before - I love the strip. I also grew up with them, and my life has mirrored the comic in more ways than one (when Ellie was buying the bookstore, my mother was also talking about buying a bookstore.) I'm about the same age as Michael, and my brother is the same age as Elizabeth. When April was born, I was just waiting for my parents to announce that they were pregnant.

I'm quite enjoying the current storyline as well.
