Just heard from Rosa's lips: "Read my lips: No new taxes!"

That is one of Ray's sayings, of the ilk which are repeated ad infinitum ad nauseam without context or even meaning.

When my daughter (now 18) was about Rosa's age, she was trying to tell me something and, although I was also distracted by driving or something, I was trying very hard to understand her, with no luck. Finally, in frustration she said, very clearly, "Mommy, LOOK AT MY MOUTH!" I thought she was brilliant at having picked up the nuance of "Read My Lips" and for using it in context.

Rosa's brilliant, you know.
Just sayin'.
