Well, *that's* certainly preferable to fighting with the DSL connection all night.

Casablanca always makes me smile. "Round up the usual suspects!"

But it appears I may not even manage to post this. Now the server won't even respond at all.

Ah...but I have dialup connectivity too.

Which is also acting strangely. Bleah.

Oh, now the DSL decides to function. For however long that lasts.

*Seeble* My favorite scene has to be when the Nazis are trying to sing at Ricks, and get drowned out by "La Marseillaise".

At least you got this posted. Only once, I hope, unlike my last post, which I think was up there six times at max. I was only able to get back up to LJ to clean it up this morning.

After the first time I saw the film I went out and found the sheet music and words for "La Marseillaise". I've since lost that; I should go find it again.

LJ is getting progressively worse. I have been having a lot of problems posting and replying lately. I am almost ready to move my journal to my own website, then I won't have to worry about how many times I will have to try before my post goes through.

I wasn't complaining about LJ actually, just about my DSL service provider.

I haven't had any problems with LJ, maybe because I have a paid account.

Anything is possible, but I don't see how a paid account could a make a difference with the problems I've been having. I get page not found errors trying to respond to other people's journals, or posting to my own. Sometimes it's even a matter of trying to read the comments in someone's journal, not even logged on myself. I think their servers are overloaded more often now because so many more people are using LJ and they haven't changed anything on their end.

I was already planning to go to my own site, I want my own domain. A subdomain is the best you get with a paid account on LJ.
