semperfionaJust put Rosa in bed after the Messiah outing. It went relatively well, but she started whining at "There were shepherds abiding in the fields" and we left. Other than that she mostly just sat under the pew.
I missed a cue--or rather, and worse, anticipated it. Comes of knowing the music only by listening to records and of looking at Rosa rather than either the score or the director at that particular point. Oops. Oh well. It was fun, I felt like I mostly stayed on key (helps to have a whole section of people singing the same thing), and I'll try to go back next year.
