The rewards of coming in to work early: there were donuts in the
breakroom today, and I got a choice! Usually, if someone has
brought in donuts, by the time I arrive at nine, there are only one or
two left.

Everyone's teasing me. "If you're already here, am I late?"

Nah, choice of donuts is a reward. Being teased is daily par for the course.
