semperfionaTesting my old-friend karma even further, I called Marina just now. I don't think I've talked to her for a year or two, but I keep thinking about her. Her house is practically around the corner from the Lake
House, and rumor has it her employer has moved office locations to somewhere near where I'm working.
Beginning to worry that I said something stupid to B in my last email; he hasn't replied in nearly two weeks. I'm making myself exercise patience, but if I don't get a reply by end of Monday I'm going to have to write and ask. The nerves are getting overwhelming.
ETA: She called back and left a vmail on my cell, promising to try again when she got home.
