So of course, because it's twice as much work for me, "We don't care.

With the company I'm dealing with, that makes sense.

The problem is, every time they "patch" the system, it kills our process and backs us up for a few hours, but for some reason, installing it as a "fix" doesn't, and no, they can't figure out why. (I think it's because they use different attachment processes, but what do I know?)
