ohari,
lavendargrrl and I went to the new-old Tandoori Hut on Hampton. I spotted a couple of entrees I'd not seen on any other Indian restaurant menus (in a sample set of perhaps three dozen restaurants): Chicken 65 and Chicken Reshmi Kabab. I ordered Chicken 65. It was an intensely red mixture of chicken pieces, onions and chilies, in a bath of oil (which I drained). Very tasty. I'm not sure how closely it followed the recipes I'm finding, though, because I get the impression their result would be a bunch of crispy fried chicken chunks. There was nothing crispy about last night's chicken. Melt-in-your-mouth tender and savory, though.
