May. 1st, 2006 12:47 pmWhew. Two sixteen-hour days of moving Friday and Saturday and I was next
to useless yesterday. We got about 60% of our stuff moved: most of the
big furniture and a large proportion of the boxes. There is still a lot
to do, though. Packing, packing, packing...Movers are due to come back
Wednesday to load and unload the truck, and again Sunday to move the hot
tub. *sigh* We have so much stuff. A whole PODful of it went away to
storage, and we're still drowning in it.
No idea how we're going to pay for additional days of mover-ing; we're
overdrawn already and we just got paid on Friday.
On the bright side, the final inspections have been made on the
remodeling project, and we passed. Our new bathroom is up and running.
We knew that; I think there've been five baths in it already!

I am spamming my friends list for a very good cause. Please consider linking to my post about Karen and Geoffrey, two real life friends here in St. Louis who are in great need of help right now. I can supply real names and contact information for anyone who wants to check them out and know they are for-real.
(Feel free to delete this comment if you object to its spamminess, I won't take offense.)
Thank you!
