Up early *again*. Today it's so I can pick up Rosa from her daddy. I crawled out of bed at 7:30, put on a snuggly bathrobe, and came downstairs. I picked up the computer, set it in my lap and turned it on.

Next thing I knew, it was 8:30. No, not quite the next thing I knew...I kept coming up out of my stupor for just instants, thinking, "I've gotta get moving here!" but being totally incapable of physical motion. Happened several times.

Another good day at Archon yesterday, although we completely missed GRRM--and I'm bummed about that. About the first thing we *did* do was borrow

the_geoffrey's room to do costuming. My Corpse Bride get-up turned out terrific, down to the gummi Wormy Guy (as I keep calling him as his name, if he had one, has completely escaped me). Pictures, of the Corpse Bride, the six-foot-six-inch Nac Mac Feegle, and... Tammie... will be forthcoming later today.

Tammie's costume...maybe Moulin Rouge, maybe Heart of Gold. We're at dinner at Ponderosa (where for some reason the staff and management appeared completely oblivious to the presence of a 3000-attendee science fiction convention next door). A dapper little gentlemen comes over to Tammie in the buffet line to enquire, "Which local theater are you performing at?" She says, "Oh, no, I'm with the convention!" Little man walks away, we return to the dinner table.

So she ended up answering the question "are you a stripper?" with "oh, no, I'm a hooker!"
