Happy Anniversary!

semperfionaFour years ago today, I made up my mind to attend the poly get-together I'd seen advertised on our local mailing list. I planned to catch up with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mztish103 there. I found some courage somewhere, and called the contact number for directions.
After work that evening, I drove down to Washington tolavendargrrl and ohari's house. I was the first person to arrive, which turned out to be a good thing. It gave me the chance to meet people gradually instead of all in a big glob, and of course it gave me the opportunity to talk at length with Tammie and Chris.
We've been together ever since. We moved in together in February 2005, and every day since has been peaceful and comfortable and contented. I continue to be amazed and delighted with how well we seem to fit.
