I was very fond, as a youngster, of baloney sandwiches on white bread with mayonnaise. I'm horrified at the thought of them now, and I'm sure that my asthma and digestive troubles were certainly triggered by what was going in my mouth. However, at the time, I thought they were wonderful. I think they got too bland for me within a few years, fortunately.

(My favorite bit of Lilo and Stitch is when Lilo explains that feeding a fish some tuna would be an ABOMINATION!)

We really do. One of our household running gags is to call things "abomination unto Nuggan", which derives from a Terry Pratchett novel. Nuggan was a god who abominated nearly everything: broccoli, chocolate, the color blue...it went on and on.

And you're right, there is also an intentional echo of Lilo and Stitch in there, too. Love that bit. "Pudge controls the weather."
