One of the reasons I hate making "personal business" telephone calls: by the time a "representative [is] with me shortly", I've forgotten what the hell I was calling about, and I feel embarrassed and flustered trying to remember my purpose for being there.

heh. Glad it's not just me. I'm so absent-minded, tho, even when I make personal calls I often have to repeat the name of the person to myself to make sure I don't forget who I've called by the time they answer. *facepalm*
