Ice

Yesterday, Ray called in a swivet. "What if Rosa's school is closed? What will we do?"

It wasn't. None of the predicted ice really affected our location or the school's. I did have some scraping of windows to do--less than I might have, thanks to ohari and his pitcher of hot water--but otherwise my commute was mostly slow-but-normal. Until I crossed the Missouri, and suddenly everything is covered in a glaze of ice.

The trees have been steadily getting more ice on them all weekend but the roads have been good - just wet. They did cancel school today at Francis Howell so maybe the country roads are in worse shape then in town.

There wasn't any ice on anything till I got to Chesterfield today, and then once I got closer to your neck of the woods it got heavy. It was pretty, and made for a nice drive. Of course, getting paid for leaving work for two hours never hurts...
