Aggravated...
Jan. 14th, 2008 02:34 pmSo someone here at work apparently had her credit card number stolen at a local Mexican restaurant. And now my coworkers are piling on in a "never trust those those people" email thread that is making me angrier and angrier.
Usually I ignore the non-work email threads among the guys on the team, but I had to at least comment this time. I am, after all, related to at least one Mexican I care a great deal about. Of course, no one has actually replied to my comment. On the other hand, at least the conversation has changed to "let's go eat Mexican food," so I'll accept that outcome.

Date: 2008-01-14 09:27 pm (UTC)*headdesk* Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up. I even tried, in private, to point out to one of the people I work with that "those people" is an overgeneralization (eta: not to mention incredibly racist). But it didn't work out so well, as I was regaled with yet more "friend of a friend of a friend" tales of woe at the hands of "those people."
So I'm venting at you because that kind of crap puts me at a slow burn, and it just annoys the fuck out of me.

Date: 2008-01-14 09:44 pm (UTC)I at least hope the individual that was responsible has been caught so that he/she doesn't do it again. But the bright side is... there will be less folks from work at my favorite places! ::evil grin::
