semperfionaShortly after my last post, we noticed that the flashy light truck had vanished. Moments later, a loud and prolonged knock at the front door. "We have to turn your water off starting at 8:30 for about six hours."
This was 8:12; we promptly ransacked the house for some clean buckets and filled them for flushing and washing purposes.

bbwoof and beckyzoole and the full jugs courtesy of Rog and Hunter.
But for even more fun, I picked up the computer to post the update, and whaddaya know. No internet. No cable, either.
Chris called Charter, they sent a "reset signal", and it's just come back up. Whee.
(The water everywhere? Look out the window.)
