I've been binging on Harry Potter fanfic lately. Ever since I read "Amends, or Truth and Reconciliation" (and am dying for the last few chapters to come out...) I keep reading more.

I discover that I very much dig the Draco/[$Gryffindor] pairings--Hermione, Harry, Neville, all of them at once (oh yes, yes please). So I'm flipping through AO3 looking for such, and devouring it. But I don't want just hatesex, unless a romance develops out of it.

And it now occurs to me that there's some kind of thread there: I love Brand too. Played a long Amber game where he and Fiona had a lifelong romance, split up by a few decades of betrayal during which she married Mandor, and eventually the three of them ended up as a vee-triad.

Beautiful conniving arrogant sons-of-bitches the both of them (Mandor too, now that I think of it), and I refuse to believe there's not a heart somewhere under all that. ;-P

I'm glad you've enjoyed some of mine. I'm a Draco fan too, and love pairing him up with Gryffindors of varying kinds (or more than one at a time). Have you checked out the recs I've been making, or the deflower_draco community? I think I am pretty much up to my eyeballs in fic lately...

BTW, have you read the Magic University series by Cecilia Tan? I think you might like it. It's an ebook series from Ravenous Romance, so not fanfic. But then, I recommend this to all the people I know who read HP fics, and many who don't. :)

No, I haven't read Cecilia Tan. Several of your fics were for that universe or crossovers, weren't they? I skipped those, tbh, not knowing the source material. I shall look out for it.

I definitely intend to check out your rec list; so far I've mostly been doing tag searches on ao3 and picking what to read based on the summaries and first few paragraphs.

Yes, I have three fics for that universe (one of which is a crossover with Amber, after reading the fourth book and talking to Cecilia about my thoughts on one of the characters and her inspirations). They definitely have spoilers though, so read the books first. They are like... what if Harry Potter took place at a secret Magical College within Harvard and had a course in Sex Magic, and sex wasn't taboo, and there were some other things thrown in, and oh yes, you can see the Amberific influences too as it goes on.

I'll try to see if I have anything in particular on my recent recs that you might like. I've been reading a lot of H/D lately, so my recs tend to swing that way often.
