On the way to school, Rosa was reading me snippets from her current book, _The Wit and Wisdom of Discworld_.

Rosa, reading: "I run, therefore I am. Actually, it's more like I run so that maybe I'll continue to be." [I paraphrase according to my recollection.]
Me: Rincewind.
Her: Obviously.
Me: Obvs.
Her: No, it's ~~obvie~~ ::eyeroll and hair toss::

A bit later, in the school parking lot waiting for our turn for dropoff...

Me: Little girl jumping in puddles there.
Her: Jumping in puddles isn't any good anymore. It just gets your socks wet.
Me: It also gets everyone else's socks wet.
Her: What are you, Slytherin?
Me: ~~Obvie.~~ ::eyeroll and hair toss::
Her: ::exasperated sigh::
